| You don't have to have a husky to get your dog's eyes checked or to be microchipped. All dogs are welcome. However, for their own safety, you might want to leave toy breed dogs at home for this one...otherwise, the huskies might just think you brought yappatizers for their enjoyment. All proceeds go to benefit the rescue efforts of the Siberian Husky Club of Greater Cleveland and Adopt A Husky Inc. Remember: it doesn't matter whether your sibe's eyes are brown, blue, green, or gold (or all four in one dog), color has nothing to do with the breed's risk of progressive retinal atrophy and juvenile glaucoma! We at Husky Havoc RRT recommend that all sibes have their eyes checked by a veterinary ophthalmologist. We also heartily recommend that all northern breed dogs get microchipped! There is always the risk of escape, no matter how well fenced or supervised your dogs are. Microchipping can save your dog's life and help to get him/her returned to you quickly and safely. All Husky Havoc foster dogs are microchipped prior to adoption. |
